Valagro recently introduced YieldON, a new biostimulator specifically designed for row crops. The official launch of the innovative solution Valagro was held on the occasion of participation in the exhibition "Grain tehnolonii" in Kiev, one of the main trade fairs for the grain sector in Europe.
YieldON is actually able to improve the transport of sugars and other nutrients that stimulate cell division, increase synthesis and, in the case of crops such as soybeans, lipid transport. These are the functions of YieldON, which allow to obtain a significant increase in yield, for example, in the mass of seeds and in the volume of oil present in them. These functions are provided through the development of a new biostimulant based on a new mixture of seaweed plant extracts that have never been used before. The drug was created using an exclusive technological platform GeaPower, based on a combination of research methods. In particular, in the field of genomics, especially in connection with the study of crops such as soybeans and maize. Valagro applied the next generation sequencing technique developed in collaboration with the Dutch research institute Nsure. This method, which was developed internationally with some of the world's best experimental centers, is the basis of YieldON's innovation and effectiveness. Some experimental studies conducted in Brazil showed an average productivity increase of 13–15% relative to the standard level.
YieldON Biostimulator is able to combine efficiency, sustainability and productivity, helping farmers to achieve higher yields. Thus, it is able to meet the demands and expectations of the market and, therefore, guarantee them a higher return on investment. After the presentation in Ukraine, Valagro will present YieldON in Brazil, and then in Turkey.
