Customs services of Ukraine blocked the supply of Belarusian fertilizers

For data from the Customs Service of Ukraine since December 7, 2018, they require Belarusian manufacturers to pay a fee in the amount of 42.96% of the amount of imported fertilizers. The requirement of the State Customs Committee is to pay the anti-dumping duty by the importer, regardless of the country of origin.

At the moment, more than 100 wagons with fertilizers are located at the border posts. It is predicted that, until Wednesday, up to 200 cars with Belarusian fertilizers will be blocked at the stations Korosten, Sarny, Snovsk and others.

According to experts, all batches of fertilizer, and more precisely, the majority, have a very low indicator of nitrogen, which would be an active substance with the growth of vegetables and fruits.

Product representatives refer to a management letter that they do not demonstrate. The "letter" indicated that the duty is not imposed on products manufactured in other countries, except Russia and countries that do not have a certificate of origin. Belarus, according to representatives, should not fall into this category.
