It is reported by the University of New Mexico, which conducted an experiment on growing plants in hydroponic plants in local schools. This idea was liked by both schoolchildren and teachers, because in Mexican schools there are no land plots to which it would be possible to show how to grow plants.
Adrian Gaitan, a biology teacher at Zia secondary school in the city of Las Cruces, says that the students were very interested in growing vegetables and fruits without land. Beyond the words of Adrian, growing plants without soil is convenient and inexpensive. The teacher built his first hydroponic installation for only $ 300.
According to experts, this experience of hydroponic cultivation will be implemented in other Mexican schools, instilling children's interest in technology, engineering and love of nature.
