The PR services of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy in Ukraine report an increase in export products in the near abroad. On February 25, the Fifth meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish working group on economic and agricultural development was held. As a result of the event, the Polish authorities approved and were interested in Ukraine increasing the volume of export products to Poland.
Ukrainian meat, offal, oil, corn, berries, nuts, ready-made foods on the Polish shelves will soon become more. Both states are interested in this.
Recall that Ukraine is considered one of the largest commodity production complexes among the countries of the European Union. Only at the end of 2018, Ukrainian farmers managed to export about 21 million tons of grain. For the entire 2018 year, Ukraine managed to hand over about 57 million tons of grain.
At the beginning of 2019, Polish farmers were rebelled by the authorities, namely, that local products are no longer so popular and more and more raw materials are being purchased in Ukraine, because of their relative cheapness. The situation with the farm was so acute in Poland that the farmers were ready to "remove" the current authorities from the leadership of the country.
