Environmentalists are sounding the alarm: if you do not regulate fishing in accordance with the declining population of marine inhabitants due to global warming, this can have irreparable consequences.
American scientists from the University of Ratger decided that the warming of the oceans has caused a reduction in world fish production by 5%. The researchers conducted a grandiose work: they examined the change in 234 populations of 124 species of marine life, from huge rays to tiny mollusks. Scientists have analyzed data on fisheries since 1930.

By comparing the results obtained with the maps of changes in temperature in the World Ocean, ecologists of Rutgers University obtained a picture of a decrease in the fish catch by an average of 5%. The most significant losses are observed in areas where fish are specialized, for example, in the East China and North Sea, experts say. Scientists say their shock results of research, because today fishing and seafood are the only sources of income for more than 56 million people from all over the world. “These are not frightening predictions of a decline in the population of marine life. This is already happening,” says Professor Malin Pinsky. 
Also, scientists decided that the global warming of the oceans has led to an increase in the population of some species that are positively affected by rising temperatures. But to say that this is a long-term trend, it is impossible - the water temperature continues to grow, and this will affect all types of marine life.
