The largest volumes of sugar Russia exports to Kazakhstan

The largest amount of sugar in 2018, Russia sold to Kazakhstan - 142.5 thousand tons. In 2017, the sales volume of the sweet product was slightly higher and amounted to 151.2 thousand tons.

The sown area allocated by Kazakhstan in 2018 amounted to 19.6 thousand hectares, which will allow to produce 60 thousand tons of sugar.

    The third place among the leading importers belongs to Belarus, which acquired 44.9 thousand tons of sugar from Russia. In 2017, this figure was higher and amounted to 51.1 thousand tons. In 2018, Ukraine imported 35.4 thousand tons of sweet product, and Kyrgyzstan - 23.2 thousand tons. In 2017, these countries purchased 42.1 thousand tons and 28.9 thousand tons of product, respectively. The Russian side made deliveries of sweet products to other countries, such as Tajikistan, Armenia, Georgia, Mongolia, China, etc.
