A farmer from the Tajik village of Ruzvayi, Rakhmiddin Nazhmitdinov, has devoted over twenty years of his life to growing various fruit trees in the Pamirs.
Selection and inoculation of various types of plant crops is Rakhmiddin's favorite occupation. In his Darvaz district of the Badakhshan Autonomous Region, he is known as a true professional, in love with his work. However, today the fame of Nazhmitdinov went far beyond the region. The fact is that a talented agrarian has grown an unusual pomegranate variety "Karon" in his compound. And the current harvest is really impressive: the weight of one pomegranate is equal to one kilogram.
“I started my farming career with growing vegetables,” Rakhmiddin recalls. “But it didn’t bring any profit, just enough to feed the family. And then I decided to build a garden on my lands. I consulted with experts and planted a hundred pomegranate trees ".
Thus, Nazhmitdinov condemned himself to real success: soon his pomegranate garden, where mainly the trees of the Hotun and Karon varieties grow, began to bear fruit. Today the harvest of the Tajik farmer is not only in high demand (and provides him with the desired profit), but also causes real admiration.
"I have long wanted to grow such huge grenades here," Rakhmiddin says. "I did it! It inspires new achievements."
