Yamal reindeer herders harvested about 1000 tons of venison per month. According to the data of the regional Yamalo-Nenets department of the agro-industrial complex, trade and food, from the end of October to the beginning of December 2018, about 27 thousand reindeer were handed over for slaughter. 
According to the press service of the joint-stock company "Myasoprodukty", for the period of the autumn-winter slaughter campaign 2018-2019, they plan to purchase close to 990 tons of deer meat.
As the statistics show, the Harp reindeer herding community donated nearly 200 tons of reindeer meat, the Pyuyta meat processing complex produced approximately 100 tons, small reindeer business representatives harvested 60 tons, and the Yamal Deers company has a record holder with about 600 tons.
According to the main producers of reindeer meat of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, the winter period of 2018-2019 promises to be harsh and cold, which will have an excellent effect on product quality and on the implementation of standards that need to be completed before February 2019.
Recall that for the data of forecasts of deer farms, by February it is planned to score over 37 thousand goals, which in numerical equivalent is close to 1.2 thousand.
