The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, after an unsuccessful attempt, is going to sign an agreement on fishing in the Sea of Azov with Russia again

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, is currently solving problems with the signing of an agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation regarding the establishment of quotas for fishing in the waters of the Sea of Azov. The Ministry expects that everything will pass diplomatically and the terms of the contract will be executed.

Since the fall, the meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian commission on this topic has not happened, the Ukrainian side of the negotiations is going to resume them. Recall that the meeting was suspended due to the statement of the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, who accused the head of the Russian delegation of illegally crossing the territory of the annexed Crimea.

As a result, the strength of the document was canceled.

The Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, Maxim Martynyuk, states that without signing the agreement, Ukraine will not be able to regulate fishing in the sea, and the actions of the Ukrainian side will be calculated as poaching.
