New food routes for Russian grain

The United Arab Emirates and a number of African countries adopted a new wheat supply plan for Russia. The idea of ​​creating a grain path was voiced at the Forum on Food Safety, which was attended by representatives of all interested parties.

The United Arab Emirates, Russia, as well as Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, Tunisia and other African countries discussed at the forum the actual problems of food exchange between states.

  • Representatives of the UAE, including the Minister of State for Food Safety of the Emirates, focused on global issues that affect everyone. They noted the importance of such factors as critical changes in climate and weather conditions, an increase in the level of food consumption, including grain, by the population.

    The party also noted the need to join efforts in optimizing food relations between states. The result of the forum was an event advantageous for Russia; a new route was developed and adopted for the supply of Russian grain to the countries of the Middle East and Africa. It should be noted that the experience of the United Arab Emirates, where the national food program was adopted before 2021, also influenced the negotiations.
