Today (March 15), one of the largest agricultural holdings in Europe - the association of companies "Ukrlendfarming" announces the beginning of spring field work.
This was stated by Victor Spassky, Deputy General Director for Production of Ukrlandfarming. According to him, thanks to unusually high temperatures for early spring, which contributed to the physical ripeness of the earth, the company has the opportunity to carry out the procedure for closing the soil moisture. This technique was used in three regions of Ukraine, on about 8 hectares of land.

Kherson, Mykolayiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions were the first on which the moisture was closed. This allowed the start of spring field work a little earlier. Victor Spassky reports that Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr go immediately after the aforementioned ones, and crops have also begun on their territory. 
Ternopil region was the first in this year, where they began to sow oats, says Spassky. More than 55 hectares of the territory of the region is reserved for this culture. In addition, "Ukrlendfarming" reports that the process of feeding winter wheat and rapeseed is being completed, the application of planned fertilizers is carried out according to the technological maps.
