Features of growing

Tomato Pink Unicum f1 multiplies by seedling method. Sowing time depends on the timing of moving to the greenhouse. Sowing usually takes place in the second half of March, but in year-round heated shelters the dates can be shifted.

Before planting, seeds are soaked in a growth stimulator for 10-12 hours. Sowing is carried out in light soil, consisting of equal parts of garden soil and humus, it is possible to add a small amount of sand. Seeds are buried 1.5-2 cm.

After germination, containers are exposed to bright light. The more sun hits the planting, the better the seedlings develop. Containers need to be rotated periodically for even growth of seedlings. When the first pair of true leaves unfolds, the seedlings swoop down and feed them with a full complex fertilizer.

Before planting, the soil in the greenhouse is carefully loosened. Plants that are 2 months old are being planted; seedlings should be healthy and strong. Wood ash or superphosphate (no more than 1 tbsp) is placed on the holes. On 1 square. m can accommodate 2-3 plants. The thickening of the landings leads to a decrease in yield.

Plants are formed in 1 or 2 stems, after the formation of 5-6 brushes all side shoots are removed. To improve the development of ovaries It is recommended to pinch the growth point.

Tall bush attached to the support. For the season, tomatoes are fed 3-4 times with full complex fertilizer. Watering is moderate, as the topsoil dries.

Diseases and pests

Pink Tomatoes Unicum is resistant to the main diseases of the nightshade: cladosporia, fusarium, tobacco mosaic, brown leaf spot.
