The selection of this meat-egg breed was carried out as follows:
- May Day roosters were paired with Russian white chickens, the resulting hybrids of the 1st and 2nd generation reproduced "in themselves";
- F2 hens with good egg production and high vitality mated with New Hampshire roosters to improve meat quality;
- the resulting F3 interbreed with each other; among the F4 hybrids, the most exterior individuals were selected, with a high precocity of meats;
to improve the meat quality of the poultry, the blood of white Plymouth cocks was added to the best F5 hens, four-breed hybrids were divorced “in themselves”; - among the F6 specimens were selected to meet the standard, some of such chickens mated with Jurlov cocks, five-breed hybrids were bred clean.
Breed description Adler Silver
Adler's tight plumage has a light Colombian color (yellow chickens) obtained from the Jurlovsk and May Day breeds.
Braids (rounded tail feathers) and tail feathers in black. These are birds of medium size, compact build, with a long deep body, wide and straight back.
Postav back almost parallel to the ground, slightly down to the tail. The stomach is well developed. Chest deep, full. The backbone is strong, powerful enough, but not rough.

Content and cultivation
Because of the bad maternal instinct of chickens, the Adler owner needs to keep the incubator at the ready.
