Vineyards of the Odessa region this year have pleased an unprecedented harvest - farmers gathered a record number of berries of elite varieties introduced from France.
Ukrainian farmers managed to get more than five thousand tons of grapes, which are mostly processed into sparkling wines. The cost of this grape is impressive - experts recognized this variety as the most expensive in Ukraine.
“We were lucky,” say happy Odessa wine-makers. “After all, our fields are at the same latitude as French vineyards! And we can confidently say that we manage to grow berries that are in no way inferior to their“ relatives ”from Bordeaux or Champagne And sparkling wines are almost tastier! "
Most of the grapes will go as a raw material for sparkling wine to the plant "Oreanda", which, thanks to the generous harvest in 2018, is ready to increase production volumes.
"We have already supplied our enterprise with special equipment - an aratophore. It will allow champagnating wine materials in a reservoir manner and will bring our production to a new level!" - stressed at the winery.
